If you'd like to keep the commenting system somewhat usable (AKA the current system), please post pictures of sad animals to FP posts on Jalopnik and other Gawker sites in protest. Here's a !!!error: Indecipherable SUB-paragraph formatting!!! to all the ammo you should need to keep Jalopnik plastered with sad looking puppies, but feel free to use your own pictures. This protest is a peaceful one, and nobody can ignore it if we all participate. I do need your help to get this noticed since I'm grey on the FP.

However, participation is voluntary. If you do not want to protest you don;t have to.

Ok, how's this. After G+ took over Youtube, I didn't post the Bob BS. I stopped going to Youtube. I used to go on there every day, but now I don't. I stopped using the site and log on maybe once or twice a week now to catch up on the videos I want to see, but never comment. That's how I protest that- I no longer like the site, I no longer use it.

I do not want to stop browsing the comments on Jalopnik and Oppo. I know how you feel about it, and I kinda agree. But dammit, I'm not going through this shit again without a fight.

It's a never-ending cycle on Gawker's sites. Every year or so they get bored with everything working (mostly) right and bring about change for the sake of change (they'll tell you this is not the case and that there are reasons behind it but these are lies). Then shit doesn't work at all for a little while, some people leave, they'll make changes to bring the system back to a slightly funny looking version of its older self, people get used to it and it starts all over again.

Resistance is futile.
